The International Association of Political Consultants is a professional group of political experts dedicated to fostering democracy throughout the world.

The organization's major activity is an annual conference where our 100-plus members can exchange ideas about the political process. For example, a highlight of the 1996 IAPC Annual Conference in Miami, Fla., was a deconstruction and analysis of the 1996 U.S. Presidential election by key campaign, polling and advertising professionals from the Clinton-Gore and Dole-Kemp teams.



How to Join the IAPC

Members of the IAPC come from many spheres of political activity. Many are full-time employees of political parties responsible not only for directing campaigns, but also for the day-to-day operation of the party structure.

Professional political consultants who spend all or most of their professional life counseling candidates or political parties and running campaigns are another significant element. These include experts at public opinion research, advertising and campaign strategy.

Public affairs professionals and lobbyists from associations, corporations and labor unions are valued members, as are members from the academic world.

Through the years, the IAPC membership has been drawn from over two dozen nations.

Annual dues are US $250.
