Mike Connell - 1963-2008
We all knew Mike Connell as brilliant, driven and charismatic. We never thought he would no longer be with us. His light will not be quickly replaced.
Mike served IAPC as a board member, led the team that re-designed and modernized our web site and was one of our most promising young leaders. He was a political pioneer and innovator, founding New Media Communications, GovTech Solutions and was a partner in Connell Donatelli Inc. But his work was always secondary to his profound love and commitment to his family and his God.
On December 19, 2008 Mike lost his life in the crash of a small plane he was piloting home for Christmas. He was 45. Mike is survived by his wife, Heather; sons, Patrick and Austin; daughters, Lauren and Madison; parents, Donald and Rosa; brother Sean; sisters Patrice, Shannon, Mary Jo, Elizabeth and friends around the world.
The family asked that those wishing to remember Mike direct donations to the Mike Connell Scholarship Fund for the benefit of his four children. Donations can be made online here.
