Drawing on its Vienna 2010 conference theme and speakers, The European Association of Political Consultants (EAPC) is out with a new book, Emotions in Politics and Campaigning.

At that conference, a select line-up of speakers investigated the central role of emotions in politics and campaigning. This significant and innovative book contains the conference papers that describe how neuroscience, linguistics, and social psychology change the political profession. It brings together perspectives from researchers and practitioners on a topic of utmost relevance for all those working in this area.  The editors are Christoph Hofinger, EAPC president 2008-2010 and organizer of the Vienna conference, and Gerlinde Manz-Christ, EAPC president for the period 2010-2012.

The book is available on amazon.de at the price of EUR 25. You can order the book here.

The EAPC book will be officially presented in the Austrian Parliament in Vienna on June 29.

IAPC members in Vienna at the time are welcome to attend the presentation.
