IAPC to Co-Sponsor Conference at British Library

Following up on the successful conference this March at Oxford University, the IAPC will be co-sponsoring a oneday conference at British Library’s Eccles Centre.  The conference, entitled “Political Marketing & Consultancy in an Age of Global Crises” is scheduled for June 11, 2012.   The University of London’s Institute for the Study of the Americas is also a sponsor.

The meeting will be hosted at the British Library Conference Centre, one of the most prestigious and attractive conference locations in London.

All IAPC members wishing to participate on the program should submit a proposal, no more than two pages in length, accompanied by a brief CV for consideration no later than December 1^st, 2011 addressed to  Professor Philip Davies, Director of the Eccles Centre for American Studies, at Philip.Davies@bl.uk.  Papers should address political marketing and consultancy in North America and discussions  of the impact of North American styles of marketing and consultancy in other parts of the world.  Proposals analyzing themes political of marketing and consultancy in the context of recent crises without a North American element will also be considered.

All presenters at the conference will be invited to submit their papers to be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Political Marketing, an international, refereed journal.
