

Carla Stacey is a communication strategist and qualitative research specialist who has spent more than twenty years in social marketing, research and campaign planning. During her time at EMC Carla has conducted research and provided strategic advice to membership organisations, unions, government agencies, professional associations, NGOs and business.
Carla has researched across a wide range of industries and with Australians of all ages and walks of life – on some of the most sensitive topics to the most important daily issues of work, finance, family and security. At EMC Carla has contributed to countless projects, these include:
Prior to EMC, Carla was the Director of Marketing and Communications (2000-04) for the Australian College of Applied Psychology, a private higher education provider delivering qualifications and training services nationally and internationally. Carla was the Executive Director of the Australian Market & Social Research Society (1999-2000). She was responsible for increasing membership by 12 per cent in a 12-month period and commencing a review of professional and industry training, which led to the introduction of the QPMR.
From 1993 to 1997 Carla was a consultant at Education Image, contributing to some of the most interesting and complex communication programs for the higher education, vocational education and training, AIDS education, health promotion and workplace sectors. Carla has also worked for the Victorian Council of Social Service and Youth Affairs Council of South Australia.
Carla has a Bachelor of Arts (Adelaide) and a Graduate Diploma of Public Relations (RMIT). She is a full member of the Australian Market & Social Research Society and a member of Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance.
