Political consultant with 35 years of experience. Specialist in electoral campaigns, public opinion and government communication. President of Fara Veggetti since 1991. He received the first Annual Aristotle Award 2010, as one of the 10 best consultants in the world, for the work done in the elections in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The firm also received the Eikon Award 2 times.
Carlos Fara participated in more than 180 electoral campaigns, reaching the target set in 76% of cases. He carried out consultancies in Argentina, Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Venezuela, Paraguay, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Uruguay and Costa Rica.
Author of the first book in Spanish dedicated entirely to the profession, "How to be a political consultant?", which received the ALACOP Award 2018 for the best book of the year.
He was coordinator of the second editions of the Marketing and Political Communication Manual "Actions for Good Communication for Electoral Campaigns", and of "Actions for Good Communication for Local Governments", edited by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and ACEP. He is also the academic coordinator of the Virtual International diploma in Political Communication (postgraduate course) promoted by these two organizations.
Carlos Fara teaches at several universities in Argentina and abroad. Former President of the Latin American Association of Political Consultants (ALACOP), first President of the Argentine Association of Political Consultants (ASACOP), and is currently one of the 5 vice presidents of the International Association of Political Consultants (IAPC). He is part of the Advisory Board of CIPPEC.
