Wayne Johnson served as President of the Wayne Johnson Agency and CEO of Gateway Media until his retirement in 2019. During a career spanning four decades, he worked as strategist and advisor to candidates, parties and organizations on four continents, and remains a devoted advocate for free elections and free political speech.  A member of IAPC since 1988, He has served on its Board of Directors at different times over the years, most recently as Vice-President representing North America.

In recognition of his service to the IAPC and the cause of democratic elections, Wayne Johnson was selected by the President and Board of IAPC to serve as its first Honorary Chairman.
